Unlock AI’s Potential in Your Design Practice

Integrate AI seamlessly.

Boost efficiency.

Move forward together.

Many design and architecture firms know AI could improve their workflows but struggle with three key challenges:

Knowing where AI fits

Without a clear strategy, firms risk wasting time on tools that don’t meaningfully improve efficiency.

Getting team-wide buy-in

It’s not enough for one or two team members to experiment. Successful AI adoption requires collective effort.

Ensuring workflow accuracy and efficiency

How do you know if AI’s outputs are reliable? Will implementation cost more time than it saves?

I help design firms navigate these challenges and integrate AI in ways that actually work—without disrupting their core creative processes.

How i help

As a researcher, designer, and AI specialist, I don’t just advise—I co-create AI implementation strategies tailored to your practice. My approach ensures AI adoption is practical, efficient, and sustainable. Through a combination of consulting, training, and hands-on AI integration, I work with your team to:

Develop a tailored AI roadmap that aligns with your firm’s goals and workflow.

Ensure company-wide adoption by engaging teams in a structured, research-driven process.

Integrate AI tools to enhance efficiency without compromising creative freedom.

Monitor and refine AI adoption through ongoing analysis and follow-up sessions.

My work is research-driven and evidence-based, combining my background in architectural design with my expertise in AI-enhanced design cognition.

My process

I use a structured, research-driven approach to guide firms through AI adoption, ensuring that implementation is evidence-based and strategically aligned with their goals.

Phase 1
Discover and Assess

Every project begins with a 30-minute discovery call to clarify your firm’s most pressing AI-related challenges and desired outcomes. If we determine there’s a strong fit, we move forward with a formal consultation and AI readiness assessment.

  • One-on-one interviews with employees to understand their perceptions of AI, existing workflow challenges, and areas of resistance.
  • AI readiness survey to establish a baseline understanding of where your team currently stands and what priority areas need improvement.
  • Workplace observations (if permitted) to analyse how design and operational processes function in practice.

Findings from this phase are thematically analysed and statistically evaluated, ensuring that AI strategies are grounded in real-world insights of your organisation rather than assumptions. The results are then presented back to your firm, offering a clear assessment of AI readiness and priority areas for development.

Phase 2
Co-Create & Strategise

Once I understand where your firm currently stands, I move into a collaborative strategy development phase to build you a AI implementation strategy.

  • Co-creation workshop with key stakeholders (directors, team leaders, and designers) to define AI integration opportunities and identify potential risks.
  • Development of a strategy-on-a-page, a concise, actionable framework outlining where AI can be implemented, the risks involved, and how to align AI with business goals and ways of measuring success.
  • Roadmap for phased AI implementation, ensuring AI is integrated in a way that supports—not disrupts—your existing workflows.

This process ensures that AI adoption isn’t forced upon teams but rather developed in collaboration with them, increasing engagement and long-term success.

Phase 3
Train & Implement

With the AI strategy in place, I provide hands-on training sessions tailored to your team’s needs, and check-ins to ensure effective AI adoption.

  • How to use specific AI tools relevant to their roles.
  • Best practices for evaluating AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Workflow integration techniques, so AI becomes a natural extension of the design process, not an extra burden.

Teams will then apply their training directly to their work, and I will conduct follow-up observations and informal interviews to track early adoption patterns. This stage forms the “intervention” phase, where we evaluate how AI is being used in practice.

Phase 4
Evaluate & Iterate

AI adoption is an ongoing process, not a one-time implementation. To ensure long-term success, I conduct a post-intervention assessment, comparing data from before and after AI adoption.

  • A second AI readiness survey to measure changes in confidence, usage, and efficiency.
  • Team feedback interviews to gather insights on real-world AI adoption challenges and successes.
  • Workplace observations to assess how AI is being applied in daily workflows.

The insights gathered from this phase are used to refine the AI strategy, ensuring it evolves based on actual usage patterns. Firms receive a final presentation outlining key takeaways, adjustments, and next steps for sustained AI growth.

What You Can Expect

Firms I work with gain clarity, efficiency, and confidence in AI adoption. After working together, you will:

1. Have a clear AI strategy that identifies where AI fits best in your practice.

Instead of wasting time exploring AI without direction, you will have a well-defined roadmap showing exactly where and how AI can be implemented in your workflow. This strategy is built around your firm’s specific needs—whether it’s automating repetitive tasks, enhancing design iteration speed, or improving team collaboration. You’ll gain clarity on which AI tools make sense for your practice and how to integrate them without disrupting your existing processes.

2. Ensure team-wide adoption, preventing fragmented or ineffective use.
Many firms struggle because only one or two individuals experiment with AI, while the rest of the team remains disengaged. I ensure AI adoption becomes a collective effort, aligning the team around a shared vision. Through structured workshops, training sessions, and collaborative strategy-building, everyone in your firm will understand why AI matters, how it helps, and how they can use it effectively. This prevents knowledge silos and ensures AI integration is a long-term, company-wide success.

3. Improve workflow efficiency without adding extra complexity.
A common hesitation with AI is the fear that adopting new technology will take more time than it saves. I help you implement AI in a way that streamlines workflows rather than adding unnecessary complexity. Whether it’s optimising drafting and modelling processes, automating documentation, or improving creative iteration speed, the focus is on making AI work for you, not the other way around. My approach ensures that AI tools genuinely enhance productivity and creativity, rather than becoming an extra burden on your team.

4. Gain practical methods to evaluate AI’s accuracy and reliability.
One of the biggest concerns firms have is trusting AI’s accuracy. How do you ensure AI-generated designs, reports, or insights are reliable? I help firms put in place practical validation methods that prevent AI from producing misleading or false information. Whether it’s verifying generative design outputs, ensuring AI-enhanced reports maintain factual accuracy, or understanding the limitations of AI-driven decision-making, you’ll gain the tools to use AI with confidence and control.

5. Establish a long-term approach for refining and improving AI use.

AI isn’t a one-time fix—it’s a tool that evolves over time. My work doesn’t end with initial implementation. I provide ongoing follow-ups to assess progress, refine AI strategies, and ensure sustainable adoption. Whether through scheduled check-ins or iterative adjustments, I help firms continuously improve how they use AI, keeping them ahead of the curve as the technology develops.
