Reflective essays often ask students to describe what they learned from the subject. However, it is unsurprising for students to instead search and learn from information that is widely available online. Because such information is not checked by lecturers, students may unknowingly learn from unreliable sources. This research improves students’ critical literacy so that they can identify appropriate web sources before learning from them.
