AI models, agents, and automation for design workflows

Details
This project establishes a dedicated infrastructure to support AI-enhanced design research and education at Swinburne University of Technology. Addressing current capability gaps, it enables local training and experimentation with generative AI tools (large language modelling, text-to-image, text-to-3D, and text-to-video models) as well as the development of custom AI agents tailored for design workflows. These workstations offer a secure environment for testing AI-integrated design processes using sensitive or proprietary data, supporting both research innovation and industry collaboration. By advancing localised, data-secure AI capabilities, the project positions Swinburne as a leader in next-generation design education and practice, showcasing the future of agent-based automation and multimodal creative tools in design.
